Born and raised near rural towns, Paul Keene spent his childhood close to the banks of the Snake River. The American author taught schools in Idaho, Oregon, and California. After retiring, he returned to Idaho near the Birds of Prey. Herman Wouk, Max Shulman, and Stephen King influenced Keene’s love for satirical humor, ghosts, and horror.
